How To Get More Grateful Children Today: Take Action Gratitude Challenge #1

[TRANSCRIPT]

Hi, Cheri Fogarty here, founder of The Habit Gratitude Blueprint™ For Busy Families where we show you how to get happier and more grateful children and be happier and more grateful yourself.

This week’s Take Action Gratitude Challenge is something super simple and fun for the whole family.

It’s to take a gratitude walk.

Take Action Gratitude Challenge: Take a Family Gratitude Walk

It doesn’t matter what season it is – summer, spring, winter or fall. It can be raining out or if you don’t like to walk in the rain – my kids actually love playing in the rain – but if you don’t, or your kids don’t, pick a day when it’s not raining and all you have to do is get outside and walk around your yard. Notice everything that’s beautiful. If you live in the city, find a park and walk around there and notice everything that’s beautiful there.

Just notice nature, look at the butterflies.

Be like a little kid. Be like a toddler, where they can stand in the same spot for an hour looking at things because they’re so engrossed in seeing everything and noticing everything. Be like a toddler!

Be sure to put the phones away, have the kids put their phones away and just be present.

And that’s it. Super easy and fun and you can do it anywhere and anytime and brings more gratitude and happiness into your home.

As always, if you want more tips, tools, ideas and strategies for how to get more grateful children in the real world we live in, in a step-by-step easy and fun way and that you and your kids can do and will want to do, make sure to head over to CheriFogarty.com after the episode.  We have all sorts of information that to help you do just that.

Until then, remember, we can have happier and more grateful children.

We can be happier and more grateful ourselves.

And we can change the world, one child and one family at a time.

Thanks so much for being here and I’ll see you next time.

Cheri
