In today’s video, you not only get this week’s parenting tip for busy moms and dads, for bringing more gratitude and happiness into your home this week, you get to see my dog make a cameo as well as my attempt to save some plants by repotting them!
Actually, I don’t show you those things, they just appear in the video frame – but I’m a real mom, in the real world, so that’s just how it goes sometimes!!
Now, on to this week’s tip which is to Make Your Home A Grateful Zone!
Be sure to watch the video to see how to do this and why you will want to do this! It’s going to be good for you and for your children. Plus, it’s simple and fun and might even save you some money (e.g., canceling some magazine subscriptions??)!
We can’t always (or ever!) control what our children are exposed to ‘out there’ but we can control (a little bit anyway) what they are exposed to in our homes. Actually, it’s our job to monitor what they’re exposed to and by taking a stand and choosing to remove one or two of the many things that expose our children to the opposite of gratitude this week, we’ll be helping them, and us, shape our thoughts to more grateful thoughts!
Remember to watch the video to find out how and then be sure to come back and let us know what you think of this tip and what one or two (or more) things you can take a break from this week in your home to promote more gratitude and happiness.
As always, thanks so much for being here and for everything you do each and every day to be the best parent you can be.
Remember, we can have happier and more grateful children; we can be happier and more grateful ourselves; and we can, and we are, changing the world one child and one family at a time, starting with our own!
Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time.
